Assalamu alaikum!
Tomorrow, 22 February inshaAllah, we will be finishing our Solar System project, and completing some Math exercises from the Practice Book. We are doing the theme "I'm seeing stars" in Social Studies, and we are studying the Solar System, and the importance of celestial bodies in Islam. For all Faraasha students who want to attend, welcome! It is not however not obligatory!
Midterm Exams
Next week Tuesday inshaAllah will be the start of the Midterm Exams. Students need to prepare! They have had the Study Guides for a month and a half, and unfortunately, some of them still have not used it correctly. During Revision Week, this week, they were incapable of answering the questions correctly.
Students must revise their notes everyday! Even if they do not have homework, they still should pull out their books and revise what they have learnt. Otherwise, it will just be like Chinese to them when they see the same information again.
I would suggest that students do not use the computer or watch the TV during the week days. They should have a Study Room where they can quietly learn. If a Study Room is not possible, a special table where they can put their materials would also be motivating! If all the distracting stimuli are removed, students will be more inclined to work inshaAllah.
PD Day
There will be no school this coming Monday 25 February inshaAllah. It is a Professional Development Day for teachers.
Reminder
Make sure that your child has a ruler, pencil, pen, sharpener, and eraser for the exams!
